I was one of the original brides on the original surprise weddings that John leslie hosted & the 2nd show was completely scripted as they used all the speeches we’d prepared ourselves even used the original dresses & it was also my birthday! The final groom also said no.
I loved the show…just glad ours never went on tv to get slated!!

It occurred to me not long after writing that post that Amos is not meant to be Irish at all. He’s from ‘the south’. I don’t know if that says more for his regional accents, or my hearing. Although I stand by the impersonation.
