MOUTHY! Russell Brand's Got Issues, E4, 10.30pm
What can we say about Russell Brand that hasn't already been said? Well, we could say that he's a shy, retiring man with a sensible haircut who is the ideal person to supervise your girlfriend, but there's probably a good reason why nobody's used those words to describe him yet.
As hard as he is to ignore at the moment, we will admit that we very much enjoyed him during what we saw of Big Brother's Big Mouth due to his impressive ability to handle an audience (and any time Davina and Dermot want to take a few lessons, we hope he's generous enough to offer), so we're quite up for seeing him talk about some things that don't involve any reference to toxic Nikki.
We're not really sure what's going to differentiate this from BBBM other than the fact that it's not about Big Brother, but heck, if that's what's working, let's keep running with it. And there's lots of fun to be had from trying to spot whether he's got birds nesting in his hair like Ms. Crabtree from South Park.
